One of the most endearing aspects of Cumberland is its heritage architecture with many of our buildings over 100 years old. This gives current residents and visitors a rare encounter with a cultural heritage that is too often demolished in the mad rush of "progress".
As one way of celebrating this unique, historical aspect of Cumberland life, I am opening up a new collection in The Cumberlander's photo gallery called "Cumberland Architecture". My hope is that it will become a repository of YOUR photos and stories about buildings in Cumberland you are particularly fond of. I've started things off by submitting a photo and story about
my own home and invite you to do the same.
Written nstructions for adding your own articles to The Cumberlander are found
