Hello Cumberlanders!
I am a cheese-maker from France (between other things..) I used to make raw goat cheese & sell it at markets. I was planning on starting a little business making goat cheese but the circumstances in my life right now make it impossible.
I have 14 mothers and 26 kids and am looking for people interested in starting a "community dairy goat". I am willing to share all I know regarding goats & cheese. The recipe I use is the simplest and healthiest. (no cooking ) The good news is that the products won't have to be pasteurized if it is for the community!
Raw products are the best, specially goat milk & cheese!
All we need to start is a piece of land (goats are amazing at transforming fallow land into good pasture very rapidly. The best part being that blackberries, scotch brooms & the like are their favorite food!)
