Ginger Goodwin and Robert Dunsmuir are together again in a mural now hung at the Cumberland General Store.
“It’s up! Go have a look." —
The historical mural, painted by Victoria artist Frank Lewis between 15 and 20 years ago, brings together scenes of Cumberland’s history and used to hang inside the Home Store.
The four-feet-high by 40-feet wide piece was taken down when Procter bought the business though and started an extensive renovation.
He said he always wanted to get it rehung though —
Earlier this month, the piece was put back on display —
Procter said they are still waiting for lighting fixtures to better illuminate the mural, and an unveiling is being planned for the community during the Taiwanese Lantern Festival.
