The members of the Citizens for Quality Health Care who took the petition to Victoria were, left to right, Richard Hagensen, Gwyn Frayne, Ed Jarvis, Lois Jarvis, Barb Biley, Janet Fairbanks and Joanne Banks.

18,775 people had signed the petition demanding that Campbell River and Comox have two fully functioning, public, acute care hospitals.
