It has come to our attention that the regional district (and by implication) Kensington are being asked to start over with the development. It is because of a court challenge by a Union Bay group which claims that the RD did not follow municipal procedure in terms of consultation with the public and other levels of government, or local organizations.

The group has had the assistance of the staff lawyer at the West Coast Enviornmental Law Society, which has successfully confronted other municipal governments which have behaved illegally.

Has the municipal government of Cumberland coluded with Trilogy to misguide the people? Have secret meetings been held? Have all required consultations been held?
