Right now the BC Government is poised to transfer ownership rights to over 500 wild and scenic parts of BC Rivers. Private power projects will then be built on BC Rivers to generate energy British Columbia doesn’t need.
The give away of irreplaceable wild and scenic rivers will hurt all of us. Our Mayors and City Councillors need to speak up in defence of the rivers that run through our towns and have provided for our communities culturally and economically for generations.
