Dear Mr Strahl,

Thank you for your recent mailing titled "Standing up for Canada, Deporting Foreign Criminals". I am glad to see that, as you proclaim, "Conservatives WILL BRING TO JUSTICE those who abuse our immigration system". in other words, as you so eloquently state it, "Those who abuse our immigration system will be sent packing ."

Such inspiring words as these are few and far between in this neck of the woods and truly, hearing them is music to my ears. A government that proclaims such vigilance will surely do the right thing in other arenas as well, for as Martin Luther King once said "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."

So, Mr Strahl, seeing that you are a public servant and that you obviously share my concern for justice, I ask you to step up to the plate and see to the arrest of George W. Bush if he sets foot in Canada.

Why? Because there is ample evidence of his alleged involvement in torture and other war crimes and crimes against humanity. Please order his arrest if and when he enters Canada, both to ensure he is prosecuted here or elsewhere, and to prevent him from returning to safe haven from prosecution in the United States.

Being as vigilant as you are, you may already be well aware of the crimes of George W. Bush but just in case you are not, here are some links to online resources that will bring you up to speed on this issue: From Lawyers Against the War: A 7-page letter cites evidence of complicity in torture (and other crimes) from numerous international reports and authorities, including Bush himself. In his 2010 memoirs, (Bush) admitted to authorizing the use of interrogation techniques that constitute torture such as water boarding. Read the full letter: ”Visit of George W. Mr Strahl, your vigilance will likely have alerted you to the upcoming planned visit of George W. Bush to Canada on October 20, 2011. Are you prepared to see that he is arrested, as many Canadians like myself are urging? Check this out: Canadians Seek to Arrest George W. Bush Oct. 20

Surely you can see to it that Canadian authorities do a better job of upholding Canadian law on October 20th than they did on March 17, 2009 in Calgary when they obviously arrested the wrong man! Splitting the Sky Arrested . Scholarly information on this issue here.
