Cumberland BC: The Cumberlander Articles Section

Citizens of Union Bay have been making good use of The Cumberlander for quite some time now and as the producer of website, I am very gratified to see such active use of it. I welcome even more robust engagement and to this end, I am opening up a new section devoted entirely to UB. As of today, you can access the Union Bay section from the menubar (Special Sections) at top or from here.

The Cumberlander, a great forum

Thanks to the Cumberlander for providing a great forum for news in the Union Bay community. I've appreciated having a place to post my submissions.
Thanks also to all those people out there in cyberspace for your supportive feedback on the posts that I've made on the Cumberlander. So far several journalists at the Vancouver Sun and Vancouver Province, a Supreme Court lawyer, an Investigator from the Ombudspersons Office, and quite a few Union Bay community residents have read my comments.
There is some big news in Union Bay coming down the pike so it will be very valuable to have a dedicated section to Union Bay.
It's refreshing to have the Cumberlander to hear the voice of the people.

I was delighted to see the Union Bay section on the Cumberlander. I have thoroughly enjoyed the Cumberlander and view this as a wonderful gift to our community.
The local papers have been a disappointment, neglecting stories that are of interest to residents.
