So the Vancouver Sun’s Stephen Hume was at the April 30 meeting. BC reads about us?

I didn’t know that. Interesting to get an outsider’s perspective on the meeting.

But he does get at the issues, doesn’t he?

Union Bay is beginning to look a bit like the Florida ballot caper, with dropping chads and all that. Hey, maybe the Supreme Court of BC will have the final word on the April 30 election?

One could expect this from some backwater, inbred community, but not a friendly community like Union Bay. I get calls from people in other parts of BC who ask about the Hume article. Their question: is Union Bay for real?

That isn’t a very good way to try to put Union Bay on the map. Kensington might be getting concerned that this negative publicity coming from UBRA, along with the court case, cutting people’s water off illegally, might scare away investors or reduce property values.

That would be a shame. Union Bay needs KIP.

Now, I’m not a lawyer, but it would be interesting to find out if the potential of criminal fraud exists within the context of Union Bay.

And Paul Baal finds himself attacked because of how he conducted the balloting? Now, that is disgraceful. Anyone who knows Paul is knows that he is a sincere and honest person, not given to illegal actions.

Imagine UBRA raising that issue, given the overwhelming defeat of their incumbents.

Ever notice that when some people don’t like a decision, they challenge the process?

Well, the sun does still rise in the east and set in the west. And UBRA can’t stop the political tide either.
