Can you believe this? Union Bay Improvement district water board has spent another $50,000 of landowner money to support the legal action of 6 people.

That’s over $118,000 of public money. Look for yourself.

How much public money have they spent? About $171 for each landowner.

For that money, I could have bought:

- 92 liters of gas for my hybrid
- 2+ weeks groceries
- 2 months of hydro
- 2+ months phone service
- 8 months of UBID water
- 13 bottles of my favorite wine
- Almost 1 year of parcel tax

Couldn’t $118,000 have bought at least ONE new fire truck for our volunteer fire department?

And I thought all the car oil level measuring thingies were in Ottawa!
