We are Cumberland artists on an unusual journey of co-creation; every New Moon we set aside all other projects to paint together at the same time on the same canvas. Drop by Tarbell's Coffee Bar between June 15 and July 15 to view ten of our most recent paintings resulting from this collaboration.

We began this practice of co-creation almost three years ago as a spontaneous New Year's Eve art experiment. We were so excited with the result image we vowed to return to the process every month.

Drawing on our combined knowledge of myths and symbols, as well as our diverse individual skills and talents, we approach each painting with receptivity and openness. We take turns, attempting to honor our own visions, while at the same time respecting those of our partner.

As in any creative and co-operative relationship, challenges inevitably arise. We see these as opportunities to cultivate self-empowerment and unconditional love. The lessons we’ve learned have been as abundant and diverse as the paintings themselves!

We invite you to view more of our paintings and find out more about our creative process by visiting our website: www.lightningpath.net.

If you would like to arrange a visit to our new home/studio, “The Twisted Chimney”, please call us at 336-2070. We look forward to meeting you!
