Hi Albert Ginger Goodwin is my great uncle my son shaun put a letter to all , thanking Cumberland for all the events thats been done in Gingers name from all of us in South Yorkshire and how we came to find out about his life and with thanks to Mr Roger Stonebanks and helen, for all the work they did . I also will thank the artists for the songs that they did for miners day in Cumberland .We have just had a miners day in Denaby Where Ginger worked before he came to Canada it was the second one after25 years as the mines were stopped working so this year was a very good as there were a lot of miners came to remember when they lost a lot of jobs and the deaths of miners past .the photos are of me and my other half and Mum Doris Goodwin , i would like to find out if there are still miners or familys left that just maybe worked with Ginger or new of him ,I would be pleased to have word as our history is now linked to cumberlands history and we are very thankfull to all for that ,with all best wishes from South Yorkshire Edith .
