Dear Sierra Club Members and Friends,

I’m writing to request your presence at an extremely important meeting:

As you will see from the attached press release, Sierra Club Canada and our local group are appealing the January 20/10 B.C. Supreme Court decision that went against our wishes to quash the development permit to Gas N Go Petroleum North, Ltd.

The appeal is the critical next step. As we have just seen from the Lannan Forest experience, if that gas station gets approved and built, there is very little that anyone can do to stop its development and the destruction that will inevitably result.

The purpose of the meeting is to consult with you on a strategy to mobilize the community and win this case. We will have suggestions, bring some of your own. If you need a ride let us know. For anyone with mobility problems, the building has an elevator.
