The Mapping Centre, a social enterprising arm of Comox Valley Project Watershed Society, is gathering information for the Raven Underground Coal Project Environmental Impact Assessment. To this end we would like to invite people from Fanny Bay, Union Bay and the broader Comox Valley to share information relevant to the biophysical aspects of the Cowie and Tsable Watersheds. We will be collecting information from sources including but not limited to scientific reports, studies, newspaper articles (excluding opinion pieces), community reports, and reports from public input processes. We will not be collecting opinion pieces, hearsay, or personal accounts. Relevant information can be brought to one of the two information gathering sessions we will be holding or can submitted by filling out the online form available from February 2nd at http://maps.projectwatershed.bc.ca. The information we gather through this process will be made available to the public in March.

Information Gathering Sessions:
February 3rd, 6pm -8pm – Fanny Bay Hall, Main Room, 7793 South Island Highway
February 4th, 6pm – 8pm – Union Bay Community Hall, The Bill Woods Room, 5401 South Island Highway
