Don't let developers ruin your beautiful community

Thank you for posting these mp3 files. It's interesting to hear the comments by residents as we face the same problems in Union Bay. It's like listening to the exact same problems we face with Kensington Island Properties and our local government Union Bay Improvement District. Correspondence ignored, the developer seems to be calling the shots including now asking for twice as many 'doors' as previously requested. The switch by some gutless phantom at the Regional District who changed the water source to Langley Lake, the very source we were promised would not even be considered.
The Regional District is going to rubber stamp KIP at the Dec.7/09 hearing in Union Bay to cover the gutless phantom's ass.
I hope you are more successful at controlling the destruction of your community than we are in Union Bay.
Kudos to those Cumberland residents who spoke at this meeting. The developers hope we will all get tired and give up. Cumberland has become an amazing community and has a wonderful spirit. Union Bay lacks the life and solidarity exhibited by your dedication. Keep fighting.
