A second vandalization, in as many years, of Cumberland's No. 6 Mine Park mural occurred mid May. The 2AM act was halted by an alert citizen to the park who scared off the vandals by shouting. Four young men were seen running from the scene, one of whom shouted an apology for the act.

Anyone with more information about this incident is asked to contact the Village Office at 250 336 2291.
